THE OPPORTUNITY: VIDEO ASSISTANT

Are you obsessed with GIFs? We’re looking for a creative, scrappy, enterprising Video Assistant to help us locate video content to surprise + delight, as we pursue our mission to TAKE OVER THE INTERNET. Brainjolt is looking for a Video Assistant to support our growing demands on the Brand Team. This contract position will be for 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Research and presentation of trending viral videos for potential license
• Curating and organizing large batches of potential videos (selects) from distribution partners to be used in Snap Episodes and Facebook Watch Episodes
• Data entry for completed Snap videos, including identifying videos used in final product for licensing to mitigate any liability issues and provide quick response for infringement claims
• Data entry in music reports for music rights to mitigate any liability issues and provide quick response for infringement claims
• Data entry for video monetization tracking
• Real-time tracking of published videos, monitoring spikes and anomalies in traffic
• Other video related duties as required

This is a 90 day contract-to-permanent hire position. The first 90 days are contracted at an hourly rate, with the option to convert to a full-time, benefits-eligible employee after a successful 90 day engagemnet.
