You will work with the Head of Brand to lead all fashion storytelling on Tradesy - for marketing emails, site, social and advertising.  

You Will: 

  • Develop the visual language and storytelling POV for Tradesy through merchandise, and bring this to life across marketing and social media channels. 
  • Partner with Senior Creative Copywriter and Art Director to plan scheduling of stories to fit into the master marketing calendar, balancing trend stories, brand promotions and sale messaging. 
  • Partner with Social Media Director to create engaging, relevant fashion and style content across different social platforms. 
  • Develop storytelling franchises that can be leveraged across social media, site, email and PR pitches.
  • Create a master quarterly trend report and mood boards to inform the marketing calendar and direct the merchandising team for product curation that feels fresh, relevant and shoppable. 
  • Create a seasonal content plan that reflects trends and cultural moments relevant to Tradesy, connecting back to the merchandise available on the platform. 
  • Direct product curation for specialized category landing pages, with relevant assortments.  
  • Plan styling direction and execute fashion shoots as needed, for creation of editorials to run throughout Tradesy channels. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the fashion landscape (of-the-moment influencers, celebrities, cultural events and zeitgeisty moments) relevant to Tradesy and incorporate that into storytelling. 

You Have:

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience at a fashion publication or multi-brand retailer with a digital presence, doing market work and/or styling.  
  • Ability to see style through a 360-degree lens, always thinking about how it directly relates to pop culture, art, and the world around us. 
  • Knowledge and strong brand relationships within the contemporary and luxury fashion markets.
  • An understanding of and deep appreciation for the resale market, luxury goods, vintage, and fashion history as it relates to the current market. 
  • Well developed understanding of how fashion storytelling is relevant across social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat & Facebook.  
  • Strong prioritization skills. 
  • Ability to be nimble with storytelling based on the business needs and goals. 
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Ability to use constructive feedback to improve work.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in arts-related subject that is relevant to fashion as a part of the cultural conversation.
