LIVEKINDLY is the premier digital lifestyle brand focused on sustainability, plant-based foods, and conscious consumerism. We are seeking an experienced Social Content Producer to join our growing team.

We are seeking a passionate storyteller, creative thinker, and expert content creator who will report to the Director, Digital Marketing and Programming. You live and breathe content, and on the daily, you’ll be shooting clips, editing social videos, creating animations, GIFs, Boomerangs and memes.

You’re an expert on all social platforms, but particularly focused on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. You also don’t mind digging into the numbers and should have actionable platform insights to help optimize distribution strategies and ensure positive engagement and platform growth.

Do you know when World Vegan Day is? Qualified candidates should be well versed in all tentpole events, social trends, behaviors, and how to use all this to create visually engaging, thumb-tapping content that will further grow the vegan/plant-based movement.

Our 2021 initiatives have a LOT to do with food, so we’re especially looking for candidates who have meaningful experience in this space.

This position is Los Angeles based, though let’s be real, for now it’s remote. So it’s important you have exceptional communication and collaboration skills. And that you’re excited to (as soon as things, you know, get better) be in the office at least a few days a week.

Core Responsibilities:

• Create engaging and entertaining visual content blending video, photo, and graphics to increase engagement and growth (anywhere from :15 - 2:00 min)
• Ideate and brainstorm with team to develop new content ideas to leverage trends and data insights
• Partner with counterparts in digital marketing, sales, and editorial to manage deliverables and scheduling
• Innovate and experiment with visual content across existing channels to support growth KPIs, drive brand engagement, and build trust and credibility
• Analyze data and analytics to continue to improve and optimize content
• A proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs (growth in particular)
• Multitaskers welcome :)
• Ability to write engaging social media copy is a big plus!
• Team player, taking on ad-hoc projects as needed (we are a startup after all!)

Education:

BA/BS in marketing, communications, filmmaking, graphic design or related field

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience developing and producing digital content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
• 3-5 years experience creating and executing 360° campaigns through visual storytelling across multiple platforms
• Experience working in the media, entertainment, food, or technology industries an asset
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects
• Knowledgeable on web tools like Canva
• Excellent graphic design with a key eye for detail and strong sense of visual aesthetics
• Energy, and enthusiasm for social media. Detailed knowledge and expertise around all social platforms. Ideally with contacts at all major platforms.
• The candidate is at the cutting edge of the cultural zeitgeist; understanding the internet, social and meme culture and how to credibly and sensitively work within it whilst maintaining brand safety.
• A self-starter with strong communication, collaboration, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience working within a remote company and/or a startup an asset
