The Role

As the Federal Proposal Manager you will manage the proposal production process and deliver engaging proposals that will drive customer interaction and opportunities across the Department of Defense (DoD). You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and synthesize a variety of inputs to develop compliant, compelling, and winning proposals. You will understand our software’s capabilities and make connections between those capabilities and customer needs/challenges. You have excellent project management skills and hold team members accountable to deadlines. You are excited to draft technical and non-technical content for customer-facing documents and to collaborate with key members of our engineering, sales, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

Manage entire proposal production process for complex proposals including:

• Develop proposal schedule and identify roles and responsibilities of proposal personnel resources
• Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from internal teams; meet with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed
• Develop deep expertise in our products/capabilities and their use cases, U.S. Government procurement processes, and existing and potential customers.
• Deliver compliant, compelling, and professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes
• Ability to articulate the value propositions of Virtualitics’ products and services to different audiences and in a variety of formats
• Conduct quality control checks and review written sections to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements
• Develop content in response to Government requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a proposal manager/writer
• Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated success at multi-tasking.
• Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and thrive in a highly technical environment.
• Experience with and understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) and other Government agencies
• Experience with data science or AI/ML applications
• Accountable for deadlines
• Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
