About the Role 

The Qualitative Marketing Research Manager will be the point person for capturing and documenting the amazing healthcare stories of Sidecar Health’s members. Reporting into the VP of Brand Marketing the role will find, interview, and curate members' experiences as they interact with the health system. Additionally, the position will lead to extensive interactions with customers on behalf of the company and storytelling in various forms (written, video, audio, public relations).

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage outreach channels to recruit members to share compelling stories at scale 
  • Conduct engaging interviews to understand member expectations and experiences with the US healthcare system, insurance generally and Sidecar Health specifically. 
  • Summarize information and share with key members of the company (marketing team, member care team, product team, executive leadership) 
  • Represent members to the Sidecar Health team outside of the member care process 
  • Develop a system to catalog the member stories to make them actionable 
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with key members to allow Sidecar Health to recruit them for various high-impact efforts (e.g., advertising, website, public relations) 
  • Develop policies related to compensation of members (if any) for their ongoing contributions and manage permissions 
  • Identify stories for press, marketing and other purposes, and handle all permissions with members

What You'll Bring 

  • 5+ years experience with qualitative research at a well-known company or marketing research agency
  • Experience managing testimonials, understanding of customer experience
  • Excellent organization, logistics and interviewing skills 
  • Good presenter, ability to summarize “forest for the trees” and present in compelling ways
