The Mastering Director for Digital Cinema Operations ensures that any issue in either the Mastering or Content Services group is dealt with in a prompt manner in order to ensure continuous flow of production operations and that deadlines are met. Maintaining cross-department and cross-facility communications as well as proposing and ensuring execution of best workflow and solutions for product releases. Supervision of staff, training, troubleshooting and any task requested by immediate supervisor will be required. In addition this role is required to work in tandem with other DCInema operations through the world.

Job Specific Tasks:

• Coordinate policies with VP and management team
• Set, review and document procedures
• Oversee HR activities; hiring, performance reviews, etc.
• Set up and coordinate organization and staffing plans including scheduling
• Set communication protocols with related departments and internally
• Establish and oversee Training program and tracking documentation
• Establish Capacity tracking methods and manage volume
• Budgeting of departmental projects
• Ensure security protocols are maintained
• Ensure Process Audit protocols are maintained
• Liaison with internal client teams and clientele as needed

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong managerial and conflict resolution skills
• Billing and budgeting procedures
• Knowledge of database layouts and functions
• Ability to work in High Pressure situations (Hard deadlines/High Profile clientele, etc.)
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Digital Cinema workflows and standards
• Knowledge of Digital Cinema mastering tools and systems
• Provide internal technical support management and respond to business regarding technical questions, provide critical thinking to solve and prevent problems
• Demonstrate leadership ability

Experience:
Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in Digital Cinema Production 
One (3) to two (5) years of experience in program management and or customer service

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University or equivalent professional experience
