Specific Responsibilities:

This position requires a strong knowledge of DaVinci Resolve platform and  Avid Media Composer a wide

range of current post-production, IT, studio and digital asset management technologies.

The successful candidate must

be comfortable in the day-to- day technical and operational aspects of post-production

and IT & Video equipment. Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and routine and

preventive maintenance of all equipment, including tape decks, routers, servers,

encoders, graphics and editing systems

Knowledge and Experience

A minimum 5 years’ experience in post-production engineering at a post-production

Linux - high level

SAN storage (xsan, stornext, or cxfs) - mid to entry level 

Black magic Resolve - high level

Avid Media Composer – high level

Autodesk Flame - mid to entry level

Baselight - mid to entry level

Additional desired experience:

Microsoft server

postgres sql 

maxdb

Atempo Digital Archive

sl 8500 or any oracle tape libraries

any scripting - python, perl, ruby

experience with thinklogical products

config management - Chef, Puppet Ansible, saltstack

deployment servers - SCCM, PDQ, etc

monitor calibration or color science background
