Driving Line is an automotive focused digital platform and magazine that covers everything from trucks and off-roading to domestics and imports. Our Driving Line team — they’re pretty awesome game changers, delivering unique car stories and changing the automotive content world. Our content reaches over 3 million visitors a month and we’re constantly growing and pushing the boundaries of what’s next.
We’re looking for a digital savvy Content Coordinator who’s ready to be a content marketing super star with growth opportunity in a digital agency. You should love content and everything having to do with it. From writing content, editing, facilitating, analyzing, or strategizing for better ways of producing it we have it all. The ideal candidate must be driven, flexible, creative, with the ability to multi-task and independently follow-through on tasks. Strong communication and writing skills are a must. An interest in automotive aftermarket and experience as a freelance writer or photographer is a big plus.
What You Will Do
- Content creation and review – writing and/or editing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, photography, video, and additional material
- Community relations – responsible for customer support & responding to individuals in a professional manner, coordinating solutions, and managing any online feedback
- Events – be able to attend and cover industry events (some travel required) and build relationships with industry VIPs
- Analytics –should be familiar with Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
- Marketing strategy – creating strategic marketing/communications plans based on industry trends, client needs, and analytical feedback
- Social media marketing – creating, managing and growing presence through social media and other relevant online properties
- Mini Project Manager - manage small projects in conjunction with a project manager
What you Need to Succeed:
- Excellent communication and creative writing skills in a variety of voices
- Demonstrated ability developing on-brand messaging that best represents their voice and tone online
- Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve marketing goals
- Demonstrated expertise in engaging and activating community groups
- Experience locating and engaging advocates within online communities
- Ability to take direction and ask questions when lost

- Experience using photo and video editing software
