Position SummaryThe Agency is seeking a luxury media strategist and producer who can shape brand storytelling across platforms. This individual will manage the content strategy for our corporate social media platforms and support the content needs of the marketing team, particularly on The Agency’s owned media channels. Success in this role requires strong creative instincts, digital fluency, and seamless cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities range from execution of content strategy, agent facing staff guidance and support, collaboration with retained vendors, and contributions to corporate marketing initiatives. This individual will be responsible for a unique set of content-related tasks within the organization, but will function as part of an international team of talented and inspiring marketers.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:- Create and oversee the execution of the social media strategy across platforms, with short-form storytelling and a platform-native focus
- Lean into video-native content with a hands-on approach to creating engaging content for a luxury consumer
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, editors, and creative vendors to execute high-quality content production.
- Consider performance-oriented concepts with a unique execution that feels authentic to the brand
- Manage the relationship with our longstanding social media vendor
- Research and write original content for various owned media outlets
- Host classes and trainings on social media trends and best practices for staff and agents
- Partner closely with Marketing Account Managers to support agent and brand initiatives.
- Deliver exceptional execution of content ensuring The Agency remains an industry leader in media and communications
- Partner with fellow team members to ensure a positive experience for the agent community
- Actively contribute to the success of all content outlets and marketing initiatives, including the The Agency Journal
- Work closely with designers and fellow writers to achieve optimal ROI for all efforts
- Engage with leadership to ensure brand vision is captured on all channels
- Translate analytics into actionable content recommendations, with use of AI-assisted tools
- Success will be measured in audience growth, engagement enhancement, and improved brand reach
- Perform other tasks as directed
- Full-time, hybrid position at home and in the Beverly Hills location
- Some travel may be requested
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6-7 years content production, social media, and / or copywriting experience
- Experienced lifestyle writer
- Strong understanding of luxury branding, design, architecture, travel, and lifestyle culture
- Impeccable grammar, proofreading and copyediting skills
- Highly detail-oriented
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organization (internal and client-facing)
- Exceptional organization and time management skills; ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
- Experience leveraging AI and emerging content technologies to improve creative workflows is a plus
- Proven ability to gain trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical-thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
- Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills. Knows what needs to be done and operates with a sense of urgency, focus and discipline
- Desire to collaborate with a team of local, national, and global marketers
Compensation:
Salary - $85,000-$95,000 USD. Compensation will be determined based on the skills and qualifications of the applicant, along with the requirements of the position.
