What are we looking for?

We’re hiring a Content and Social Lead to own organic growth end-to-end: thought leadership, social channels, newsletter, and video. Your job is to build a repeatable content engine that consistently drives awareness, traffic, and signups.

What will you lead?

  • All Hercules' organic content

    • Channels: X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Newsletter, Blog

    • Content type: thought leadership and product/feature launch content

    • Scope: strategy, calendar, distribution, and iteration

  • Contractors pipeline: hire/manage writers, editors, designers, creators; create briefs; ensure high quality output, ensure we meet deadlines

  • Video production: direct vendors for launch videos + testimonial/customer videos (briefs, scripts, review, delivery)

  • Asset repurposing: turn every asset into many (threads, clips, posts, email, blog) with quality control

What skills do we expect you to have?

  • Proven track record growing organic social for a product (ideally developer tools, SaaS, or prosumer)

  • Excellent writing and editorial judgment (hooks, clarity, voice, pacing)

  • Strong creative direction for short-form video (scripting, structure, creator guidance)

  • Ability to build and manage a content production system (briefs, QA, workflows, vendor management)

  • Comfort with analytics (what moved, why it moved, and what to do next)

  • Strong AI workflows for ideation, drafting, editing, repurposing, and performance analysis

Is Hercules in-office or remote?

Hercules founding team works in-office in San Francisco (Kearny and Bush). We have a very strong preference for in office. We are open to remote for exceptional candidates in US time zones who would be willing/able to travel to the office regularly.

What’s the compensation?

$100k-$250k + equity (depends on seniority, equity, and location)
