About the Role & Team

Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, bringing The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.

The Disney+ Programming team leads content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights to support a cohesive, strategic approach to content across the service.

What You Will Do

As the Content Planning Coordinator, you will support the global Disney+ Content Planning & Scheduling team within Disney+ Programming. You will help maintain and audit planning databases, localization intent, global dates, and day-to-day content changes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, sound judgment, and a collaborative, diplomatic approach. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Content Planning.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and help create databases, reports, and documents for leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate with internal partner teams to support day-to-day updates and change management.
  • Track and audit international title plans within Disney+ tools and ecosystems.
  • Maintain accurate title-planning data throughout each title’s lifecycle.
  • Support ad hoc projects and requests as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • At least 1 year of experience in content scheduling, slate planning, content strategy, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with data governance and data interpretation.
  • Experience building, refining, and iterating high-impact pitch decks and presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in roles and processes that are not clearly defined, constantly evolving through self-reliance and resourcefulness
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of and passion for The Walt Disney Company’s segments, brands, and franchises, with an understanding of the elements that drive audience engagement.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and a collaborative working style.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in digital media or entertainment, including subscription video on demand (SVOD) or linear television.
  • Experience using Airtable.
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Additional Information
  • This role is based in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $59,600.00 - $79,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
