The Content Marketing Manager will lead social media, storytelling, and sales enablement efforts, creating content and managing outreach to grow audiences and support marketing initiatives.
About Cyngn
Based in Mountain View, CA, Cyngn is a publicly-traded autonomous technology company. We deploy self-driving industrial vehicles like forklifts and tuggers to factories, warehouses, and other facilities throughout North America. To build this emergent technology, we are looking for innovative, motivated, and experienced leaders to join us and move this field forward. If you like to build, tinker, and create with a team of trusted and passionate colleagues, then Cyngn is the place for you. Key reasons to join Cyngn:
We are small and big.
With under 100 employees, Cyngn operates with the energy of a startup. On the other hand, we’re publicly traded. This means our employees not only work in close-knit teams with mentorship from company leaders—they also get access to the liquidity of our publicly-traded equity.
We build today and deploy tomorrow.
Our autonomous vehicles aren’t just test concepts—they’re deployed to real clients right now. That means your work will have a tangible, visible impact.
We aren’t robots. We just develop them.
We’re a welcoming, diverse team of sharp thinkers and kind humans. Collaboration and trust drive our creative environment. At Cyngn, everyone’s perspective matters—and that’s what powers our innovation.
About this role:
Cyngn is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to lead the charge on our social media, storytelling, and sales enablement efforts. This is a unique opportunity for a creative, entrepreneurial marketer to shape and scale how we show up in the world—online, across social, and in video.
Our team is small, which means you’ll get to wear many hats: social media builder, newsletter publisher, brand storyteller, and sales deck designer. You’ll work directly with Cyngn’s executive team and get hands-on experience with every part of modern marketing, from demand generation to go-to-market to product launches.
If there are things you haven’t done, we’ll train you. If there are things you would like to do, we’ll let you.
You must have excellent copywriting and design skills. If you're a creative thinker who knows how to grow audiences, write compelling stories, and support revenue goals with sharp design and copy, we want to hear from you.
This is a remote role that keeps west coast (PST) hours.
Responsibilities
- Design and write sales enablement content, including decks, one-sheets, and case studies that help close deals.
- Own and grow Cyngn’s social media presence, building audiences and engagement across B2B channels like LinkedIn and getting us launched on TikTok.
- Publish social media content on behalf of executives and other senior leaders.
- Create and manage blog and newsletter content that informs and inspires our audience while supporting SEO goals.
- Publish and optimize our newsletter, improving key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and subscriber growth.
- Drive distribution strategy, ensuring content reaches the right audience through internal and external channels
- Support product marketing and go-to-market initiatives with compelling messaging and creative execution.
- Collaborate on educational webinars, working with Cyngn experts to develop content and promotion strategies
- Identify PR, podcast, and thought leadership opportunities through cold outreach and network-building.
- Vet vendors and support key marketing operations projects.
Qualifications
- You must have a portfolio or personal site that showcases creative work—ideally social campaigns, content pieces, or marketing assets.
- You’ve built or grown social channels and can speak to your role in that success
- You write clean, clear, and compelling copy—especially for social, blog, and B2B audiences.
- You can tell when things are written by ChatGPT and have started to hate it.
- You know your way around basic design tools (like Canva, Figma, or Google Slides) and have an eye for visual presentation.
- You’re independent, self-directed, and eager to learn.
- Bonus: You have a fine arts, design, or writing background, even if you’re newer to marketing
- Bonus: Basic video editing experience.
Benefits & Perks
- Health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA and FSA (Health & Dependent Daycare), Employee Assistance Program, 1:1 Health Concierge)
- Life, Short-term and long-term disability insurance (Cyngn funds 100% of premiums)
- Company 401(k)
- Commuter Benefits
- Flexible vacation policy
- Remote or hybrid work opportunities
- Sabbatical leave opportunity after 5 years with the company
- Paid Parental Leave
- Daily lunches for in-office employees and fully-stocked kitchen with snacks and beverages
- Monthly meal and tech allowances for remote employees
