About Wisdom

Wisdom blends industry expertise with advanced technology to make dental practices work better for everyone involved. We believe dentistry is about people, and we exist to make the future of dentistry stronger and more sustainable for dentists, their teams, and the patients they serve. We match administrative teams with expert billers and custom-built technology to take on the heavy lifting of dental billing while maximizing dentists’ time in-office, and their bottom line.

Wisdom is backed by Juxtapose, a leading technology and service investment company which partners with experienced entrepreneurs to build category-defining tech companies. We are a fully distributed, remote-first team with employees across the US.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to lead and execute our content and digital marketing efforts. This role will be responsible for producing high-quality content assets, managing our online and social presence, and ensuring our brand is well-positioned in the dental industry. If you're a strong content creator with excellent project management skills and a passion for digital marketing, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

📚 Content Creation & Distribution

  • Produce ebooks, case studies, and blog posts, including topic ideation, gathering insights from internal teams, writing copy, and managing the design.

  • Develop and execute a content production and distribution strategy, ensuring a consistent flow of new hero assets and repurposing across multiple mediums

  • Manage a content calendar to track production timelines, distribution plans, and promotion

  • Write promotional copy for use on website, email marketing, social media, etc.

  • Curate a monthly newsletter featuring fresh content highlights for prospects and partners

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external publications to create bylined articles from our executive team

📱 Social Media & Online Presence

  • Own and execute our corporate social media strategy (LinkedIn, Facebook/Meta)

  • Monitor and engage in sponsored dental industry groups, actively listening in dental communities, commenting and contributing to relevant conversations

  • Track social engagement and website traffic trends to identify opportunities for optimization

🎙️ Podcasts & Webinars

  • Manage our podcast and webinar functions, including both in-house recordings and external events

  • Oversee scheduling, guest outreach, pre-show communication, recording, and distribution

  • Work with our video editor to create sharable recordings, promotional video clips, and social media snippets

  • Ensure smooth day-of execution for live webinars (technical management, recording, Q&A)

  • Coordinate attendee follow up, including post-event communications, answering questions, and coordinating lead handoff to sales.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital marketing

  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to generate and curate engaging content

  • Detail-oriented and autonomous—you take ownership and see projects through

  • Creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment

  • Excited to bring new content ideas and processes to the table

  • Passion for helping businesses grow through content-driven marketing

Nice-to-Haves (Not Required, But a Plus!)

  • Basic familiarity with self-serve design tools (Canva, etc.)

  • Experience with email marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.)

  • Experience in dental/healthcare industry or writing for B2B audiences

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
