Common Trust is on a mission to support the 3 in 5 small businesses that will seek a sale over the next decade to transition into the hands of employees through employee ownership buyouts.

We are looking for an innovative Content Marketing Manager to oversee the strategy, creation, and execution of email marketing campaigns, as well as drive the development and distribution of content that nurtures leads and builds brand awareness. You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver engaging content and automate workflows that nurture prospects through the buyer's journey, from lead capture to conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email Campaigns: Write compelling email copy for a range of audiences and campaign types, including promotional, nurture, and lifecycle emails.
  • Workflow Automation: Build and manage email workflows and automation sequences in HubSpot, ensuring that emails reach the right audience at the right time.
  • Nurture Campaigns: Design and implement nurture campaigns tailored to different lead types and stages of the buyer’s journey.
  • Audience Segmentation: Segment and manage email lists based on engagement levels, profiles, and stages in the funnel to ensure relevant messaging.
  • Cross-functional Content Creation: Collaborate with sales teams to develop content for newsletters, promotional sends, and other marketing materials.
  • Content Calendar: Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with product launches, campaigns, and key events.
  • SEO & Content Strategy: Create engaging, SEO-friendly content such as blogs, case studies, and e-books to drive organic growth and generate demand.

Performance Metrics: Track and analyze email campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing and content creation, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Knowledge of email best practices, segmentation strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Experience with SEO and content-driven lead generation.
