Role Overview

We’re seeking a data-savvy storyteller to join Conductor’s marketing team who seamlessly blends data analysis, research, and content marketing. This role is responsible for the end-to-end workflow of identifying and publishing data-driven insights, impactful research studies, and narrative-rich content. You’ll dig into data, translate insights into compelling assets (written pieces and visualizations), and amplify their impact through strategic content distribution.

What You’ll Do:
  • Research & Insight Development
    • Identify high-impact research topics and data sources aligned with enterprise-level buyer needs
    • Design and execute studies, surveys, or data analysis that yield actionable insights
    • Collaborate with revenue operations, product, and marketing teams to enrich content and maintain data rigor
  • Content Creation & Visualization
    • Create long- and short-form content (articles, whitepapers, research reports, social posts, infographics, dashboards) rooted in insights and best practices
    • Use visualization tools like Tableau or similar to craft compelling data stories
    • Maintain an editorial calendar, coordinate cross-functional content development, and align content with buyer journeys
    • Track content performance via analytics and metrics-based tools
    • Analyze engagement and impact, and continuously optimize content roadmap
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 6+ years of content marketing experience, with demonstrable research or data-driven content work
  • Background  in research, data storytelling, or content marketing in quantitative fields
  • Hands-on familiarity with:
    • SQL, Python
    • Visualization & publishing platforms like Tableau, Looker Studio
  • Portfolio of research studies, content pieces, visuals, or narratives that show data-driven storytelling
  • Proven experience translating technical data into long-form content formats
  • Proven experience building content strategies that resonate with enterprise audiences
  • Strong analytical mindset with a flair for storytelling
  • Skilled in both writing and visual communication
  • Comfortable working independently and scaling output quickly
  • Familiar with marketing and research workflows, able to partner across teams

Compensation: Conductor maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs. 

The NYC base salary range for this role is currently $75,000-$100,000 per year. Placement within that range will be dependent on experience.
