As a Content Marketing Associate on our Recruitment Marketing & Employer Brand team, you'll bring our culture to life through compelling, creator-level content that showcases the people behind our work. From shaping narratives to producing and publishing content, you'll highlight real employee experiences and elevate our presence across core channels. You'll combine hands-on production skills with strong social instincts to capture authentic moments, tell impactful stories, and strengthen our employer brand. Your work will connect with future talent in meaningful and memorable ways.
What you'll do as a Content Marketing Associate
  • Lead the end-to-end creation and publishing of video, photo, and graphic content that brings employee stories to life across DraftKings Life channels.
  • Build and manage the DraftKings Life content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, planning content 2+ weeks ahead to ensure a consistent publishing rhythm.
  • Proactively partner with teammates, team leads, and stakeholders to source stories by conducting interviews and capturing moments that translate into engaging and authentic narratives.
  • Create, edit, and repurpose short-form video content (snippets, cutdowns, reels) and supporting graphics that reflect our culture and talent brand priorities.
  • Craft social-first copy and narratives that capture attention and tell a story; adapting tone and message for different platforms and audiences.
  • Use platform insights and basic analytics to understand performance trends and inform content decisions that improve engagement.
  • Iterate based on feedback and performance to continuously refine content for quality, consistency, and impact.

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of content creation experience such as internships, freelance work, or personal creator projects, with skills across video, graphic design, and copywriting.
  • Experience in managing organic social media accounts and understanding how to drive performance, with a focus on mobile-first content.
  • Strong copywriting ability with an emphasis on crafting engaging hooks, captions, and storytelling that feels authentic and on-brand.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar), plus graphic design experience in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ownership and reliability to communicate proactively, flag risks early, and bring solutions to keep timelines and publishing on track.
  • A portfolio or content samples (professional, freelance, or personal) that showcase your content ideation, storytelling, and editing abilities.

We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 56,000.00 USD - 70,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
