The Content Marketing Manager will develop and execute content strategy, produce various marketing materials, and drive demand generation and organic growth through engaging content.
About the Position
FiscalNote is looking for a talented, detail-oriented content marketing manager who is passionate about reaching prospects and clients through multiple channels. As the Content Marketing Manager, you will create and manage the execution from start to finish of a large variety of lead generation and thought leadership materials. You’ll be as comfortable writing blogs, white papers, reports, or a case study as you are owning our content marketing webinar series from start to finish. Your role will work closely across marketing and business development to help support demand generation, product marketing, and sales enablement.
How Your Performance Is Measured
-Organic growth: non-paid sessions, priority keyword rankings, AI engine citations, share of voice, backlink quality/quantity
-Pipeline impact: Organic, content-sourced, and content-influenced intent and urgent MQLs, and pipeline
-Engagement and conversion: Time on page, multi-page sessions
-Quality and authority: press/analyst citations of proprietary insights, utilization of content by sales, and internal stakeholder satisfaction
About the Team
The Marketing Team at FiscalNote collaborates across business units to help drive sales and support the growth goals of the company using data and creativity. With a demand-generation approach, the marketing team targets high-quality leads and nurtures them with compelling content and events including webinars, blogs, lunch & learns, white papers, case studies, and the like.

What to Expect in this Position
- Produce content that attracts & engages target audiences
- Own the content strategy and editorial calendar across FiscalNote, aligned to organizational goals
- Produce thought leadership, market reports, and unique data studies that prospects actively seek and trust
- Showcase product value through content tied to features, use cases, and outcomes; enable self-education that shortens time to Discovery Meetings
- Build and prioritize a robust library of case studies, testimonials, and customer stories across products and verticals
- Manage content contributors that could include marketers or other internal team members, as well as writers, agencies, and freelancers, as needed
- Ensure quality, consistency, and brand voice across all content formats
- Drive organic, top-of-funnel growth
- Develop and execute an organic growth strategy that increases non-paid sessions, rankings, and inbound leads
- Optimize content for search and AI recommendation engines
- Perform quarterly audits and performance analyses of content
- Deliver content that aligns with quarterly campaign themes and audience needs (webinars, blogs, white papers, analyst content, videos, infographics, reports)
What Sets You Apart
- 3+ years in B2B content marketing, leading teams in high-growth SaaS or technology; experience in policy, government affairs, compliance, or advocacy audiences is a plus
- Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills, and are obsessed with making sure that content is clean, accurate, and delivers the right message. Extra points for someone with an editorial or journalism background
- Demonstrated authority in SEO, AI recommendation engines, and overall organic content strategy
- Strong editorial judgment and writing/editing chops, with an eye for storytelling that resonates with specific segments and verticals
- Experience running content programs supporting campaigns and product launches
- Versatility in creating different content types, including thought leadership, data-driven assets, case studies, blogs, reports, and guides
- Proficient with Google Docs/Drive, CMS platforms, SEO tools, analytics tools, sales enablement platforms, webinar/virtual event tools, and project management software
- Comfortable with marketing automation and CRM reporting
- Fluent with generative AI and content optimization tools to increase output and quality
