About Clipboard

Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.

Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.

Excited about what we're building? We'd be grateful if you'd spread the word. If you know a friend, former colleague, or someone exceptional you'd love to work with again, refer them here.

The Opportunity

At Clipboard, we run a program called Surprise & Delight. It’s one way we give back to our community – gifting workers and workplaces with surprises that show how valuable they are to us. These could be as small as flowers or as big as a weekend getaway for their family.

Up until now, this program has run with little media coverage, only impacting those directly involved. But we know it can be bigger. We want to create a social-first series that amplifies these moments across the internet. This means not just upping the scale of how we share these moments, but upping the scale of the moments themselves, e.g. bringing in a celebrity chef to cook patients their favorite recipes for them.

Taking inspiration from popular accounts such as juixxe and Lalaland, we want to create entertaining, wholesome content that shows what we represent as a brand.

That's where you come in.

What You'll Own

You will be the primary face and driver of the channel's growth. Alongside our team, you will organize and capture wholesome surprises for healthcare workers and facilities across America.

What that means in practice:

  • You're on camera 3 to 5 days per week

  • You manage production. We aim to publish both long and short-form videos on a weekly cadence, and you will keep that on schedule

  • You steer the storytelling. Across all phases of production, you shape the narrative and make sure the final product best reflects the experience

  • You lead community engagement. From posting videos to responding to comments and DMs, you are the voice of Clipboard on these channels

Who We're Looking For

This role is unconventional. We care far less about your resume than we do about who you are and how you show up.

What we're looking for:

  • You're magnetic on camera. Think someone like Nicolas Nuvan. Your energy is contagious, both to the people you're with and the people watching at home

  • You're willing to travel. Most shoots will be local to you, but for specific campaigns we'll film in cities across America

  • You're extremely personable. Whether you're with a stressed nurse or a busy facility director, you can build trust with a stranger quickly

  • You care about the people we serve. Our users are hardworking people who put others before themselves, and the idea of giving back to them should excite you

Bonus, not required:

  • You've produced IRL content before

  • You've grown a social media account before

  • You've worked in healthcare or nursing

Quick Note on Scammers:

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
