Perplexity is looking for an experienced Consumer Marketing Lead to join our innovative team revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet. You will be responsible for envisioning and executing a global marketing strategy—including driving the implementation of our biggest partnerships and ultimately making Perplexity a household name globally.

You will work closely with product, brand, and business development teams on ensuring the success of our most strategic partnerships and growing awareness and usage of Perplexity. The ideal candidate should have experience working on global marketing, entertainment and talent partnerships. This person should be creative, business-minded, resourceful and able to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the overall consumer marketing strategy focused on building the brand and driving usage of Perplexity
  • Ensure the successful launch and ongoing marketing activities around key global partnerships (i.e., co-marketing, sports, entertainment and talent)
  • Partner with brand and design to produce content and other creative around partnerships and other consumer activations
  • Build and manage the measurement of consumer marketing activities and partnerships while maximizing the success of these projects based on key metrics and insights

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience marketing consumer products and working with entertainment, talent and other co-marketing partners
  • Demonstrated ability to drive from strategy to developing creative to execution on fast-moving projects
  • Strong execution skills and an eye for detail
  • Ability to thrive in a small, agile team with a strong sense of initiative and ownership
  • Leverage creative thinking to help with partnerships go-to-market and solve problems during the implementation process
  • Have outstanding interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence (EQ), and ability to persuade/drive alignment among differing perspectives

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise.
 
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity may be part of the total compensation package.
