Job description:

Engagement Managers are responsible for managing client engagements and providing client service leadership. Work includes problem solving, leading a team of Associates and Analysts, developing content expertise, establishing trust-based executive relationships, and acting as a client advisor helping our clients to address their most critical business challenges. Engagement Managers are expected to mentor Associates and Analysts and to contribute to client development efforts.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage teams that support clients across a range of industries and functions
  • Lead day-to-day execution of projects
  • Oversee the collection and preparation of research & analysis
  • Advise and present insights to senior client executives
  • Manage and mentor Associates and Analysts

Requirements:

  • 4 - 8 years of work experience, with at least 2 - 4 years at a leading consultancy (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, or BCG)
  • Sector experience in financial services, retail/consumer, private equity and/or tech/media/telecom a plus
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with comfort overseeing research, financial models, data analysis to support business recommendations
  • Experience in developing and delivering client presentations and other communications
  • Experience in business development in consulting (e.g., creating proposals, scoping work, problem solving client needs)
  • Ability to lead teams across multiple functions (e.g., high-level communication, presentation design, analysis) 
  • Outstanding track record of success in past professional and academic endeavors
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD, PhD) from a top-tier institution is preferred
