Job Description

AECOM Mississauga is looking at hiring a Project Manager.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:

  • Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,
  • Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,
  • Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
  • Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
  • Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.

 

The Project Manager manages all assigned projects from planning till close-out, through the end to end lifecycle of the individual projects. This is a supervisory role, leading the design and construction delivery teams. 

 

Specific to Shell, the person would look after KDR / NTI / RUST projects. This specific program focuses on:

  • Construction of C-Store, QSR buildings, Car Wash, Forecourt and canopy and general site works.
  • Installation of EV and Fuel systems
  • Removal of existing fuel tanks and replacement with new tanks
  • Works to oil water separators
  • Site paving
  • Dispenser replacements
  • General making good of sites

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline (civil, mechanical, electrical, construction management, etc)
  • 4+ years of experience in construction project management
  • PEng or PMP or MBA

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP designation is a huge asset
  • Professional Engineer license or eligibility
  • Has experience with downstream sites / fuels scope
  • 4+ years working as a project manager on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Has strong safety and planning skills
  • Good understanding of contracts and the commercial management of projects
