About the Team: 

The Construction Design & Delivery team is at the core of Relativity’s growth and development. Through our collaboration and expertise, we deliver projects that lay the foundation for Relativity’s future success. In essence, ‘we build the factory that builds the rockets! We are responsible for cross functional relationships with teams such as Manufacturing, Propulsion, PBF, Avionics, Machine Shop, Facilities, EHS and Security to name a few, working through design specifications and execution of critical infrastructure projects that supports the mission of work centers. Our relationships don’t stop there, working daily with government agencies, utility suppliers, vendors and contractors who support our factory build out. Our team ensures that all projects meet operational requirements, safety and environmental codes, all the while remaining within budget, delivering on time, and to the highest quality as we help to drive production forward.

About the Role:

  • Lead all financial planning and schedule coordination for capital infrastructure projects, from early design through construction closeout
  • Develop and manage detailed budgets—including soft costs, escalation, contingency, and design fees—to ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Build and maintain integrated project schedules that account for permitting, procurement, construction, and turnover milestones
  • Track committed vs. actual costs, update forecasts based on real-time inputs, and provide early visibility into potential budget or schedule risks
  • Generate weekly and monthly performance reports and executive dashboards to track variance, milestones, and contingency usage
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Construction teams to align scope, timing, and vendor performance

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project controls, including forecasting, cost control, and schedule management
  • Strong working knowledge of cost tracking (committed vs. actual), contingency drawdowns, and change order management
  • Proven ability to build and maintain master schedules that integrate permitting, procurement, and construction timelines
  • Skilled in generating stakeholder reports and dashboards, including variance analysis and performance summaries
  • Experienced in managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and risk visibility

Nice to haves but not required:  

  • PMP, CCP, or PSP certification, or a Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Construction or Engineering Management)
  • Experience with infrastructure projects in aerospace, manufacturing, or cleanroom environments
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI for real-time capital project reporting
  • Proficiency with Procore, SAP, or other construction/finance ERP platforms

Hiring Range:
$122,000$156,200 USD
