About the job:

BCT LLC is seeking a Configuration Manager (CM) of developmental and operational systems. The candidate will work on development and operations teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) for developmental and operational systems. Uses or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures. Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system. Implement CM discipline across the entire system life cycle, from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life. Perform change control and configuration audits. The candidate must possess an active TS/SCI with POLY.

Required Experience:

  • Provide Configuration Management support to the HPC Operations and Sustainment organization, specifically in support of the Configuration/Change Engineering Review Board (CERB) and lower-level Configuration Management Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Assist the CERB Chair in providing comprehensive quality assurance and configuration management for all HPC Systems
  • Serve as an advisor to (or non-voting member of) the CERB and CCBs
  • Facilitate the management of software and hardware Configuration Items (CIs)
  • Participate in the creation, update, and/review of Configuration Management (CM) Plans, and other associated documents.
  • Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures
  • Assist in maturing the request for change (RFC) processes across the CERB and CCBs

Required Education:

Qualified candidates must meet one of the following criteria: [CHOOSE ONE]

  • Eight (8) years’ experience as a CM in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional CM experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • A Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to six (6).
  • If assigned to a developmental program, one (1) year of experience using a source code control system for a developmental program of similar scope and complexity is required.

Salary Range: $93,000 - $133,000

The above salary range is a general guideline; however, BCT-LLC considers several factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
