As a Junior Copywriter, you will create engaging copy across multiple platforms, collaborate with teams, and research trends to enhance brand voice.
We’re looking for a junior brand copywriter to join our in-house marketing team. You’ll concept and craft creative across Superside’s channels, from bold campaign ideas and scroll-stopping social to razor-sharp landing pages and executive thought leadership. If you love getting stuck into a creative brief and writing copy that makes even B2B feel human, you’ll fit right in.
This role sits at the heart of Superside’s marketing efforts, working alongside designers, marketers, and creative leads to shape the voice of a brand that helps other brands thrive.
What You'll Do
- Write big ideas into tight lines across ads, web, social, campaigns, and more.
- Collaborate with designers, creatives and marketers to concept and execute integrated campaigns.
- Ideate and ghostwrite LinkedIn content, especially thought leadership, for Superside and our executive team.
- Research trends and stay sharp on culture, and the creative landscape.
- Support internal marketing efforts with brand-led, insight-rich copy.
- Review and refine copy for clarity, consistency and tone across all touchpoints.
- Think fast, think conceptually, and always think like a brand builder.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- 2+ years of copywriting experience in-house or at an agency.
- A portfolio that shows strategic thinking, originality and a strong sense of craft.
- Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to move from big picture to fine detail.
- Proven background in digital and social-first campaigns.
- Experience with B2B and/or SaaS is a plus, especially for LinkedIn.
- A clear point of view on creativity, culture, and connecting with modern audiences.
- Interest in (or experience with) AI in the creative industry, we’ll train, but you’ve got to be curious.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene
Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.
Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech
- Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
- Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
- Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
- Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
