About NVE Experience Agency:

NVE is an independent creative marketing agency that specializes in brand experience. Founded on the principle that ‘The Right Moment Will Transform Someone Forever,’ and named Campaign’s Experiential Agency of the Year, the agency is on a mission to transform the industry through the power of independent creativity and experiences rooted in culture.

About Our Internship Program:

Our Summer 2026 internship cycle takes place between June 1, 2026 – August 21, 2026.

This is a paid, hybrid educational internship. Our internship program runs for 12 weeks and provides our interns a hands-on learning experience unparalleled in the classroom. As an intern, you will report directly to a supervisor, explore your career field of interest, gain in-house agency experience, acquire new skills for resume building, and establish vital career networks and mentors.

Summary of Position:

As a Concept Studio Intern at NVE, you will gain hands-on experience working across both copy and art direction—helping bring brand experiences to life from concept through execution.

This is not a passive internship. You’ll contribute to real client work, collaborate with a multidisciplinary creative team, and participate in the same studio rituals that shape our ideas and output.

It’s an opportunity to develop your craft, sharpen your point of view, and experience what it’s like to work inside a fast-paced, culture-driven creative agency.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Contribute to big, bold, breakthrough ideas for brand experiences and campaigns
  • Assist in developing clear and engaging copy for brand experiences – this could include everything from a headline for an experience, to social posts and  digital content
  • Assist in developing visual expressions of creative ideas – this could include everything from mood boards to 2D comps
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions
  • Conduct research on cultural trends, insights, and emerging tools (including AI) to inform creative work
  • Collaborate with designers, creatives, and cross-functional partners to bring ideas to life
  • Participate in internal reviews, critiques, and studio working sessions
  • Support the team across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to translate brand ideas into physical and digital experiences
  • How creative concepts evolve from early thinking to real-world execution
  • How to work within a collaborative creative team across disciplines (design, concept, production, strategy)
  • How to present work, receive feedback, and iterate quickly
  • How to navigate real client timelines, constraints, and expectations
  • How emerging tools—including AI—can support and expand the creative process
  • What it means to build work that is rooted in culture—not just aesthetics

Who You Are:

  • You are currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in design,  marketing or related creative fields
  • You have a portfolio that shows your creative thinking and creative potential (school or personal work is welcome)
  • You are curious, proactive, and excited to learn by doing
  • You have an interest in exploring emerging creative tools and technologies, including AI
  • You are open to feedback and eager to grow your skills
  • You bring a point of view—but also a collaborative mindset
  • You embody NVE’s core values of Ingenuity, Inclusivity, Instinct & Independence.

Program Structure:

This is a paid internship program designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience within the Concept Studio.

Interns will:

  • Be paired with a dedicated mentor/supervisor
  • Participate in Concept Studio critiques and team rituals
  • Gain exposure to real client projects and internal creative processes
  • Receive ongoing feedback and guidance throughout the program

At the conclusion of the program, interns may have the opportunity to participate in an Intern Studio Share-Out, presenting a brief reflection on their experience, including work they contributed to, key learnings, and their creative perspective.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
