Job Description

CSCI is seeking a skilled Computer Systems Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and operation of software systems for critical Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal programs. This role is integral to ensuring that system solutions align with business needs while addressing technical constraints and performance objectives. The selected candidate will contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle—analyzing requirements, designing system solutions, and implementing modifications. Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 or higher is highly valued, as the analyst will help optimize and adapt systems in support of mission-focused initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business processes and technical requirements
  • Develop and modify procedures to solve complex software and system-related problems, considering hardware capacity, system limitations, and desired outcomes
  • Prepare detailed program specifications for software development and enhancement
  • Provide support for the design, development, testing, and implementation of new applications and upgrades to existing systems
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and users to ensure software solutions meet functional and technical requirements
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software applications and programs
  • Manage complex system functions, including large telecommunications networks, sophisticated file maintenance routines, and advanced mathematical or scientific software tools
  • Evaluate new and existing software products for performance, compatibility, and scalability
  • Support software operations and ensure smooth deployment and ongoing system functionality
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience 
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Experience supporting DoD or Federal Oracle shared service providers on Oracle EBS R12.2 or higher
  • IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level: IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, CEH, SSCP)
  • Oracle based - CE/Operating System Certification
  • Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
  • Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
  • Past experience working with a federal agency 
  • Department of Defense experience is a plus!
