About the RoleAs a Composites Fabricator, you’ll be responsible for turning cutting-edge designs for deployable composites structures into physical reality. From purchasing pre-preg, to maintaining and upgrading our custom curing oven, to milling molds on our in-house CNC, to doing the hand layups yourself, you’ll be responsible for every step of the process to go from CAD to reality. You’ll also have strong input into the design of the composites, as you’ll be the first person to notice when complications arise during fabrication, and you’ll be responsible for brainstorming fabrication solutions to improve the quality of the composite structures you make, to ultimately improve performance. The composite structures you make will be going to space in 2025.
