Compliance Engineer

What success looks like in this role:

Product Regulatory/Environmental Compliance

• Ensure products meet global safety and environmental compliance requirements (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS, REACH, etc.)
• Interpret and apply international regulations to Unisys product designs.
• Collaborate with design, production and other cross-organizational teams to integrate compliance requirements early in the product development cycle.
• Coordinate with third party labs and regulatory agencies on product testing and certification processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on current and future products.
• Maintain required regulatory/environmental compliance records.

Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance

• Maintain the QMS in alignment with the ISO 9001 standard.
• Monitor compliance with quality policies and procedures.
• Lead internal audits including planning, execution and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Manage documentation control for the QMS.
• Report on QMS performance to leadership.
• Ensure risk management practices are integrated into the QMS.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 3-5 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.  Therefore, to conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
