Competitive Intelligence Manager

AuditBoard’s Market Intelligence team is at the frontline of our go-to-market and product development strategy. From competitive intelligence and win-loss insights to macroeconomic trend analysis, you will be our eyes in the sky and ears to the ground in all things GRC. You’ll inform both market positioning and competitive depositioning to drive long-term strategy while helping bring home wins for our sales team.

Core responsibilities in this role include: 

  • Collaborating with marketing, sales, and product to collect, analyze, and disseminate  GRC market trends. 

  • Engaging with clients and partners to aggregate and share buyer insights. 

  • Monitoring, summarizing, and sharing insights from win-loss interviews, competitor releases, product reviews, and financial reports.

  • Presenting key insights from quarterly reports to executives and other stakeholders. 

Minimum qualifications: 

  • 2+ years prior experience in the GRC software industry in a solutions engineering, sales, product, or marketing position. 

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills: You know the best sources of market intel are customer-facing teams and our buyers, and you’re not afraid to reach out for these insights directly.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to responsibly and programmatically apply AI to market analysis and reporting.

Preferred qualifications:  

  • Previous experience in solutions engineering, sales, product marketing, and/or competitive intelligence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field.
