Our values guide how we operate, execute, and collaborate across borders. By putting them into action, you’ll help us scale faster, compete harder, and lead the future of global work.

What Makes You a Great Fit

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Compensation Analyst to join our People Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling innovative solutions that enhance our people-related data and compensation initiatives across salary, bonus, and equity programs—delivering insights that inform compensation decisions, organizational development, talent operations, workforce planning, and the overall employee experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful compensation analyses, market benchmarking, reporting and dashboards, annual compensation cycle support, and Compensation Committee materials and contribute to the success of Pebl’s business objectives.

This role is a fast-paced, highly visible function and may require in-office collaboration as needed to support key cycles and stakeholder needs. This is an opportunity to shine as the point of contact for all things compensation at PEBL.

How You'll Make an Impact

Collaborate with People Operations, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and cross-functional leaders to deliver timely compensation insights and recommendations, including market benchmarking, internal equity analysis, promotion and mid-year compensation reviews, annual compensation review support (merit and incentive distribution), and accurate leadership-ready reporting for workforce decision-making.

Design, build, and maintain compensation datasets, reporting and summary outputs, and stakeholder-facing tools (dashboards, scorecards, charts, and heatmaps), along with program, process, and plan documentation; including ownership of the end-to-end Compensation Committee deck and materials to ensure accuracy and alignment with broad-level standards to ensure reliability and scalability.

Optimize compensation structures, pay programs, benchmarking methodologies, reporting workflows, and system-enabled processes (including tool and system integrations) to drive market competitiveness, internal equity, scalability, user experience, data integrity, and accuracy in compensation decision support.

Lead by example in applying data accuracy, analytical rigor, confidentiality, and consistent compensation standards aligned to company objectives and market practices.

Evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of compensation and analytical tools to improve scalability, user experience, and data integrity; including maintaining and supporting the compensation module in HiBob and managing integrations with ADP and the equity system.

Analyze and maintain compensation data using market surveys and industry data (e.g., Radford, Mercer) to develop and refine compensation structures and pay programs; ensuring leadership has clear, decision-useful information and that compensation outcomes reflect internal equity and external market competitiveness.

Let’s Connect If You Have

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Typically 2-5 years of professional experience in data and compensation analysis, including delivering data insights and presenting to cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience with HiBob (compensation), equity management platforms (e.g., Carta, Slice, and others), ADP integrations, compensation surveys (e.g., Radford, Mercer), benchmarking methodologies, and advanced Excel and analytic tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly visible, cross-functional environment with multiple priorities and time-sensitive deliverables.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a stakeholder-focused, employee-experience mindset—using data to inform recommendations, influence decisions, and adapt messaging to diverse audiences.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
