As an Associate Compensation Analyst at Billtrust, you will play an important role in supporting our compensation programs and helping ensure we remain competitive in attracting and retaining top talent. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic team, while directly contributing to initiatives that impact the employee experience. You'll assist with key compensation projects, data management, and program administration while gaining hands-on exposure to Total Rewards practices.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Talent Business Partners to support organizational structure development, job design, and related compensation activities.
  • Assist Recruitment teams by providing research and support to ensure pay practices align with Billtrust’s competitive compensation philosophy.
  • Support the execution of Total Rewards programs and initiatives across the organization.
  • Help maintain and update salary ranges, external benchmarks, job levels, and titles in our internal systems.
  • Contribute to the administration of our annual and mid-year compensation planning cycles.
  • Support the management of Short Term and Long Term Incentive Plans through data preparation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Participate in salary surveys and assist in evaluating market data to ensure compensation programs stay competitive.
  • Help maintain compensation databases, ensuring data accuracy and assisting with system updates or improvements.
  • Support the preparation of training materials, presentations, and communications related to compensation programs.

What You'll Bring:

  • A strong interest in Compensation, Human Resources, or related fields.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about Total Rewards practices, compensation structures, and market analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data analysis is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Exposure to compensation practices, HR systems, or internships in HR/Compensation is a plus but not required.

The expected base salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our Talent Acquisition team during the interview process.
