The Community Manager’s key objective is to concept and execute engagement strategies that aim to grow, strengthen and excite our growing community of players. This individual will be the hands-on owner of our community ecosystem, responsible for independently creating and managing content across all social media and Discord channels, with a specialized focus on Shooter or Anime-style Gacha games.

You will build direct relationships with players by actively engaging in discussions and addressing player feedback, utilizing your deep understanding of these specific genres and their unique community cultures. By leveraging social media metrics and data analysis, the Community Manager will work to develop ways to acquire new players, retain existing players and positively impact overall sentiment. As the voice of our players, you will also work closely with cross-functional teams to surface trends and discuss opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate is a versatile multi-tasker who can manage everything from content posting to community moderation and data reporting to provide the highest quality experience for our players.

[Responsibilities]

  • Execute social and community engagement initiatives across key communication channels (social media, website, forums)
  • Build, manage and cultivate relationships with community of players on various platforms such as social media, forums and Discord.
  • Write engaging content to promote game updates, events and promotions.
  • Monitor player feedback, sentiment and trends and provide ongoing analysis and reporting to inform game development decisions.
  • Work closely with the cross-functional teams to identify and action core issues or opportunities

[Qualifications]

  • 2+ years of previous experience in a Community Management or similar role, preferably within the video games industry
  • Experience developing / executing content strategy across social media and web platforms

Essential

  • A passion for games and a knowledge of the MMORPG ecosystem
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in social media writing and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly, take initiative and “get things done” approach

Desirable

  • Analytical and curious – interested in exploring new ways to communicate and measure engagement
  • Basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Prior knowledge of NC games
  • Experience with video and streaming platforms, such as Twitch and YouTube
