Job Responsibilities :

The Community Content Specialist is a role for the passionate gamer that is social media savvy and possess a great eye for design. Working closely with the Community and Influencer team, the Content Specialist is responsible for ideating and creating social media content, with an emphasis on short-form video that will drive engagement for Razer’s community channels.

Working closely with the Community and Influencer team, the Content Specialist is responsible for ideating and creating social media content, with an emphasis on short-form video that will drive engagement for Razer’s community channels.

  • Ideate, create and edit video content that is engaging, timely and relevant for deployment content across social media channels to grow audience and increase engagement

  • Coordinate with the Global Community and Content team to develop a Social Media video strategy, which includes short- or long-form video, including livestreams, and event coverage experience is highly appreciated

  • Manage an up-to-date calendar of short-form content with regular stakeholder communications and project management to ensure timely delivery

  • Manage day-to-day communications on the social media channels of where video content is deployed (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) to grow the engagement and size of these channels exponentially. This includes routine housekeeping, moderation, conflict resolution and enforcing of community house rules

  • Conduct ongoing analysis and reporting of owned social media (and external channels) short form videos to provide industry/landscape insights as well as recommend suggestions for trendjacking and content optimization suggestions.

  • Help support additional social media efforts with different marketing teams globally.

  • Perform ad-hoc department administrative duties as required

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  

    • 1-3 years of experience in video content development and production management

    • Minimum 1 year of social media management experience

    • Experience in the use of video editing software, including native social media platform editors

    • Understanding of social media best practices, relevant industry trends, online marketing, and engagement techniques.  

    • Experience in the use of social media management and analytical tools/software and editorial content calendaring.  

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on generating business results. 

    • Ability to work with global teams across multiple time zones and cultures. 

    • Gamer and gaming knowledge is required. 

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Film/Video/Television Production, Communications, Marketing or Digital Media or equivalent work experience. 

    Salary Ranges (per annum):

    $50,700.00 - $84,500.00
