About the Role:
We’re looking for Community Ambassadors to help support, host, and guide creators and users as Cantina continues to grow.
As a Community Ambassador, you support and elevate the Cantina experience by hosting live rooms, guiding creators through workflows, and ensuring users can engage meaningfully with the product. You play an important role in helping creators get started, answering questions in real time, and contributing to a welcoming, high-quality community environment.
This is a camera-on, mic-on role that requires comfort with live hosting, moderation, and active participation in live rooms. This is a 3-month contract role to start, with the potential to extend based on performance, availability, and evolving program needs. For this hiring round, we’re prioritizing candidates who can reliably support weekend shifts; additional weekday availability is a plus.
What You'll Do:
Host and facilitate live rooms
Host Cantina-owned rooms
Be microphone-ready and comfortable appearing on camera
Help guide the flow, tone, and engagement of live experiences
Treat each shift as an opportunity to support a high-quality, consistent experience
Support creators and users
Help creators onboard, build AI bots, and understand Cantina’s tools and workflows
Answer questions clearly and confidently in real time
Support creators in progressing through key moments on the platform
Assist creators participating in Cantina programs such as the Creator Fund and Residency
Maintain product fluency
Build familiarity with Cantina’s features, tools, and workflows
Stay up to date on new launches, updates, and changes
Explore and test the product regularly to better support users
Surface feedback, bugs, and recurring questions to internal teams
Moderate and uphold community standards
Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment
Help uphold Cantina’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service
De-escalate conflicts and escalate issues through established internal channels when needed
Contribute to community growth
Support events, programming, and community initiatives
Collaborate with Community and Marketing teams on engagement efforts
Stay informed on trends, internet culture, and creator behavior relevant to the platform
Weekly expectations
Support scheduled shifts reliably and communicate availability clearly
Complete assigned weekly deliverables related to hosting, creator support, or feedback gathering
Track time and availability using Cantina tools
What You'll Bring:
Comfortable hosting live on camera and microphone
Experience with live or social platforms such as Twitch, TikTok Live, Discord, or similar
Strong communicator with a friendly, approachable presence
Curious about AI, social platforms, and emerging creator tools
Able to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team
Organized and thoughtful about time management and boundaries
Able to reliably support weekend shifts; weekday availability is a plus
Nice to Have:
Experience moderating online communities or live chat rooms
Familiarity with AI or creative tools
Experience creating content or engaging audiences on social media
Experience supporting creators or users on fast-evolving platforms
Contract Details:
Rate: $20/hour
Hours: 15–40 hours per week
Term: Initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension
Availability: This role is primarily focused on weekend coverage (Saturday - Sunday), with nice-to-have availability during the week as needed
Location: Remote
Equipment: Must have access to a reliable laptop and mobile device
