This is a two day a week in office, hybrid role that can sit in either our San Francisco office or our New York City office (Opening March 2026!)


About the Role

Join our team as Commercial Lead, Core Metro Strategy and play a key role in driving growth in Taskrabbit’s most visible, high-volume markets. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at cross-functional collaboration and is passionate about optimizing marketplace dynamics across our top metros.


You’ll partner across teams to align supply, marketing and operational strategy in our Cornerstone, Momentum and Experimental metros, with a goal of driving targeted net revenue growth and helping shape the go-to-market strategy for key seasonal and event-based initiatives.


This role reports to the Director of US Commercial Operations and sits within the North America Commercial organization.


What You’ll Work On

  • Lead metro-level planning for our top markets, aligning demand and supply strategy to maximize net revenue.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to guide met/cat-level spend allocation using LTV/CAC, intent, and unit economics to inform investment decisions.
  • Expand and execute seasonal supply planning in partnership with Tasker Success Managers (TSMs), with tailored strategies for high-priority metros.
  • Orchestrate large-scale metro activations and brand moments (e.g., Boston Moving Day, LA Wildfire Response) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive evolution of supply health metrics and set planning benchmarks tailored to each top metro’s funnel performance.
  • Operationalize Tasker Acquisition model recommendations and optimize registration processes for metro-specific supply health.
  • Partner with Marketing and Brand to develop and localize metro-specific campaigns and category initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Fraud and Margin Optimization to improve efficiency and profitability in high-volume cities.

Your Areas of Expertise

  • 6+ years in strategy, operations, or marketplace roles with demonstrated impact on localized growth or P&L performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience applying funnel optimization, LTV/CAC metrics, and supply/demand modeling to real-world decisions.
  • Ability to navigate and align diverse stakeholder groups, from marketing to fraud and analytics.
  • Experience building and implementing repeatable go-to-market strategies or activations.
  • Comfort working autonomously while coordinating across departments.
  • Passion for local marketplace dynamics and a drive to deliver measurable impact in high-visibility environments.


Compensation & Benefits: 

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable.  total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.

The base pay range for this position is $90,000 - 129,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
