This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
The Commercial Middle & Large Business Customer Relationship Specialist III supports Middle & Large Business Operations. This position will have responsibility for processing a variety of account and policy transactions in addition to receiving and placing phone calls. Additional responsibilities include managing work queue, productivity, quality, reworks and mentoring and development of self and others. This position may require serving as a Specific Point of Contact (SPOC) for our division partners. The successful candidates will be self-motivated, independent, critical thinkers with a strong desire to deliver exceptional service experience.
• Act as primary service contact to agents and underwriters explaining and clarifying or processing transactions on various lines of business (Worker’s Compensation, Automobile, Umbrella, Property, Auto, and General Liability).
• Work in a high production environment while delivering exceptional service and following protocol expectations.
• Have a digital mindset to influence internal and external business partners.
• Demonstrate a sense of ownership for all work within the goal of positively driving business results
• Meet and maintain performance standards and work towards self and team improvement.
• Stay current on the products and procedures.
• Have a can-do attitude and live into the Hartford behaviors in a continuously changing environment.
• Adapt and champion changes with a mindset for continuous improvement that may positively impact the company or the department
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED Commercial Market Insurance experience

REQUIRED Commercial Insurance product lines General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers Compensation

• Experience working in a high production transaction environment while delivering exceptional service and following protocol expectations.
• Problem solving and research skills
• Ability to effectively communicate in a professional positive demeanor both verbally & written
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate through multiple
• Ability to negotiate effective solutions and navigate within the gray to deliver the appropriate business outcome
• The ability to think critically while working in a fast-paced work environment
• Have a dedicated workspace free from distractions during work hours

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$44,400 - $66,600
