Apprentice Candidate Job DescriptionGeneral Description (Summary, Scope, Purpose)HUB LAOC is looking for full-time apprentices to join our team. If you’re a self-motivated individual with a strong interest in having a successful career, we encourage you to apply. We accept applicants from LA County. This in-person apprenticeship program requires you to commit to working 40 hours per week for 10 weeks. You will become a regular HUB employee for this apprenticeship period and will be allowed to participate in all HUB benefits.Successful completion of the apprenticeship would pave the way for you to obtain a Property & Casualty License and secure a full-time position with HUB International, the 5th largest Insurance Brokerage in the world. - College Graduates/Undergraduates – Preferred area of study includes but not limited to Risk Management & Insurance, Marketing, Communications, General Business Management, Economics, & Finance.
- Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States for U.S Employment opportunities. We will require proof of work authorization.
- If selected for the HUB Apprenticeship Program apprentices will execute the company’s nondisclosure agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality, and non- disclosure.

- Initial Screening : Applicant with the required skills & qualifications will be notified to take a work style assessment (administered by “Culture Index”) as part of the initial screening process.
- Final Screening : Candidates selected from the initial screening will be scheduled to meet with a Selection Panel from the HUB Management Team. Final selection of apprentices to participate in the program will be notified no later than 05/31/2025.
- “Grow with HUB” Summer 2025- Apprenticeship Program will commence on, Monday, July 7th, 2025.
*The expected hourly rate for this position is $18.00/hour to $19.00/hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
