Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Coordinator to join our growing team in Carpinteria, CA! 

 

The Commercial Lines Account Coordinator primary responsibilities involve performing administrative clerical functions as liaison or assistant to managers, supervisors, and other department personnel. 

 

How You Will Contribute: 

 

  • Perform routine clerical tasks including, data entry and operating office machines 

  • Answer phones, routes callers and takes and delivers message 

  • Process cancellations and reinstatements 

  • Answer direct bill inquiries from customers, account managers and producers 

  • Issue certificates of insurance and certificates schedules of insurance 

  • Order loss runs providing detail on large losses within the prescribed need by date 

  • Maintain tasks daily 

  • Provide support with policy checking, and daily policy downloads 

  • Other duties may be assigned 

 

Licenses and Certifications:  

 

  • Willingness to obtain and maintain a current P&C license 

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 
 

  • AA or bachelor's degree (preferred) 

  • Minimum 2 years college 

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in a similar position (preferred) 

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite 

  • Professional demeanor 

Pay Range

$26 - $26 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
