We are seeking a Commercial Auto Product Manager - Autonomous Mobility to lead the strategy, development, and launch of future-focused commercial auto insurance products addressing emerging mobility models, including rideshare, last-mile delivery, commercial fleets, and autonomous vehicles. This position is designed to build from the ground up—shaping our long-term commercial auto strategy. The ideal candidate is a market shaper, someone who can translate emerging mobility trends into insurable products, new coverage constructs, and scalable partnerships.

What You Will Do

Mobility & Market Strategy

  • Own the future-state vision for next-generation commercial auto and mobility

  • Continuously monitor and interpret emerging mobility trends

  • Identify new risk categories, coverage gaps, and unmet customer needs across evolving mobility ecosystems

  • Build business cases that balance value, effort, risk, regulatory needs, and expected outcomes

Product Development & Launch

  • Lead end-to-end product development from concept to pilot to launch

  • Design innovative coverage structures, pricing approaches, and underwriting concepts appropriate for emerging mobility risks

  • Navigate regulatory complexity across states

Ecosystem & Partnership Development

  • Evaluate and shape strategic partnerships with mobility platforms, OEMs, autonomous technology providers, telematics, data, and risk-intelligence vendors

  • Collaborate on embedded and co-branded insurance opportunities aligned to new mobility models.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Communicate complex strategies and insights to senior leaders to enable fast alignment and decision‑making.

  • Build trust and influence across cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration and shared success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, management, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial auto product management, product development, mobility, or adjacent fintech/insurtech roles

  • Strategic thinker comfortable operating without a playbook

  • Experience launching new products in ambiguous or emerging markets

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally across business and technical teams

  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data, extract actionable insights, and communicate findings effectively broad audiences.

  • Advanced knowledge of telematics and embedded insurance models

  • Experience navigating regulatory uncertainty in insurance or transportation sectors

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with data-driven tools, dashboards, and analytic platforms.

Required Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of personal lines insurance markets, with experience driving product performance and pricing strategy across multiple states.

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI solutions into product strategy, development processes, and cross‑functional workflows to accelerate innovation and execution.

  • Experience in E&S, specialty insurance or other non-standard risk.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$194,300.00 - $259,100.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
