Direct Defense Sales Organization is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join the team. You will serve as a critical partner for clients in your assigned geography, helping them achieve their security goals. In this quota-carrying role, you will directly impact the company's success and drive new business for Professional Services and Threat Advisor Professional Platform sales to small and mid-sized businesses. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of high-volume, transactional full-cycle sales: from prospecting to close, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, demo, proposal, and close.
  • Drive outbound outreach via calls, emails, and event attendance to generate and convert new business opportunities.
  • Join industry events, webinars, and partner activities to build relationships and identify new leads.
  • Present and sell the Essentials package, aligning cybersecurity needs with DirectDefense’s offerings, including penetration testing and MSSP services.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to optimize pipeline generation and share platform feedback.
  • Leverage tools likeZoominfo, Outreach, Orum, and Salesforce to manage pipeline and activity metrics


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or IT services.
  • Proven success in high-volume, transactional outbound prospecting and closing new business.
  • Strong communicationand presentation skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Soundunderstanding of cybersecurity concepts
  • Familiarity with Zoominfo, Outreach, Orum, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce preferred.

Salary range: $73,000 - $95,000 + Commission

In accordance with applicable state laws, we are providing a good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role. The anticipated salary range for this position is $73,000 to $95,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
