Role Description: Commercial Account Executive
 
Role Purpose: 
 

Wasabi Technologies is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and ambitious sales Rockstar with proven commercial sales experience. We’re growing fast and looking to add to our growing sales team. 

 
You’ll prospect for new business and nurture and sell to warm leads that have been well-cultivated by Wasabi’s outstanding marketing and business development teams. You’ll have an arsenal of resources to help your prospects learn about the disruptive price, performance and protection benefits of Wasabi hot cloud storage.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and close deals through strategic partners 
  • Conduct outbound outreach to target accounts, qualify leads, and build pipeline 
  • Manage your sales pipeline with precision—forecast accurately, maintain deal hygiene, and drive deals to close 
  • Build strong relationships with partners, working closely with the POD to identify shared goals and drive joint success 
  • Collaborate with partners to map accounts, identify whitespace, and uncover new revenue opportunities 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to end-user customers, building long-term relationships and understanding their evolving needs 
  • Uncover and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize customer value 
Requirements:
  • 3 - 5 years of technology sales experience (storage experience a plus) 
  • A self-starter with experience in B2B sales or channel sales 
  • Skilled at outbound prospecting, partner collaboration, and navigating complex sales cycles 
  • Excellent communicator with a talent for building rapport and trust with partners and customers 
  • Results-oriented, with a passion for driving revenue and exceeding goals 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Salesforce.com or HubSpot CRM experience 
  • Sales training certification a plus 
  • Coachable and open to feedback on suggested alternative methods and processes 
  • Creative team player, willing to make positive suggestions to further the team’s success
