As a Commercial Account Executive, you’ll drive new business for Gainsight’s industry-leading solutions. You’ll take a consultative approach to building relationships with prospective customers, aligning their goals with our platform to help them deliver measurable outcomes. This is a high-impact role with visibility across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.

What You’ll Do

Sales Execution

  • Own a defined territory and meet/exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Lead full-cycle sales motions from discovery to close, adjusting approach based on buyer type and deal complexity.

  • Deliver compelling demos and communicate ROI to executive stakeholders.

  • Align internal teams (CS, Solutions Consulting, Services) to advance opportunities and ensure a strong post-sale handoff.
     

Pipeline Development

  • Partner with SDRs and marketing to drive pipeline generation.

  • Prospect, nurture, and qualify new business opportunities.

  • Respond to RFPs, prepare pricing proposals, and lead contract negotiations.
     

Territory & Admin Excellence

  • Maintain an accurate pipeline in Salesforce with key insights on deal health and forecast confidence.

  • Share prospect feedback and competitive insights with GTM and product teams.

  • Represent Gainsight at industry events, virtual or onsite, as needed.
     

​What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience in a closing role.

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in a fast-paced, outbound-driven environment.

  • Ability to connect business value with customer pain and outcomes.

  • Strong communicator with presentation skills and executive presence.

  • Self-starter with curiosity, grit, and a growth mindset.

  • Experience navigating enterprise level, consultative sales cycles
