Job Description
The Latin America Multinationals Corporate Banking team manages J.P. Morgan's relationships with Latin American subsidiaries of global corporate clients across their cash management, trade, FX & rates, commodities, and financing needs. The team coordinates the coverage strategy with headquarter bankers and product partners across regions. We are recruiting an Analyst to support our corporate banking and client coverage efforts across a select portfolio of multinational clients in Colombia. Position will be based in Bogota.
Responsibilities
- Support Colombia-based corporate bankers in covering a diverse portfolio of multinational clients
- Work with local and global bankers as well as product partners to identify and materialize corporate banking opportunities within client portfolio
- Stay current on all aspects of client relationships: revenue, operating deposits, credit exposure, industry trends, KYC, AML, Compliance, etc
- Coordinate Know Your Customer (KYC) efforts including new onboardings, record remediations, and renewals
- Partnering with Bankers and Payments Sales Managers on new bids (including RFPs), leading with pricing and profitability models and assisting with the finalization of the sale through documentation negotiation
- Helping with industry, credit and company analysis to detect trends and themes and communicating them effectively
- Helping maintain existing business through a high level of customer satisfaction
- At least 1 year of professional experience (experience in Corporate Banking is a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Spanish and English.
- Strong time management, organization and planning skills
- Ability to build and mobilize internal networks and resources
- Preparing customized pitch books and other marketing materials to help generate new business as well as review existing relationships and setups; understanding clients' cash management structure and objectives to anticipate their needs
- Maintaining internal reports; monitoring revenue trend reporting on a monthly basis to identify crucial upward and downward portfolio trends; working with Finance and Business Management teams to ensure deals are tracked accurately for reporting

- Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic credentials
- Maturity and good judgement, self-starter with high level of motivation, intelligence & a team player mentality
- Strong analytical skills and commercial judgement to build/grow client relationships
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests in a timely manner
