About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Manager (CSM) to help service providers accelerate their transformation through the adoption of Calix Cloud solutions—including Service Cloud, Engagement Cloud, Operations Cloud, Foundation Cloud, and advanced analytics.

This is a hybrid role blending technical solution engineering with strategic sales acumen. You will work directly with account teams, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders to uncover needs, design cloud architectures, deliver compelling demos, and guide customers through complex decision cycles.

What You’ll Do

Drive Cloud Growth & Sales Execution

  • Lead cloud-focused account strategies that expand adoption of Calix Cloud products across your region.
  • Partner with Sales, SEs, and Customer Success to progress opportunities from discovery to close.
  • Present technical and business value to multi-level stakeholder groups, including executives.
  • Build ROI-driven narratives that showcase operational efficiency, automation, and measurable outcomes.

Lead Technical Discovery & Solution Design

  • Understand customer OSS/BSS environments, integration needs, data workflows, provisioning systems, and operational models.
  • Architect solutions that align Calix Cloud capabilities with customer pain points and business goals.
  • Deliver tailored demonstrations of Service Cloud, Engagement Cloud, Operations Cloud, and associated analytics tools.
  • Support RFP responses, technical reviews, and solution validation.

Enable Customers & Internal Teams

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud analytics, operational workflows, service management, and API-driven integrations.
  • Train customer teams on best practices, new capabilities, and cloud-driven operational models.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure deployments achieve rapid value realization.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in a related role: Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, Cloud Consultant, or similar.
  • Demonstrated success in hybrid technical + commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of cloud analytics, SaaS platforms, data pipelines, and API integration.
  • Experience working with broadband, telecommunications, OSS/BSS, or network operations (preferred).
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.

The on-target earnings for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

221,000 - 332,000 USD Annual

Select US Metros and States:

192,000 - 288,000 USD Annual

Other US Locations:

173,000 - 260,000 USD Annual
