Business UnitWhat the Role Entails
- Operations and maintenance of Tencent Cloud's security related products including Firewall, WAF etc in North American region to ensure service's stability and reliability.
- Drive product deployment,upgrades and architecture optimization in region by deeply understanding security related products architecture and technical principles.
- Participate in the troubleshooting of products and customer problems ,resolve security problems in the region; drive a closed-loop system to manage product problems and customer problems.
- Ensure stable 24/7 system operation by building disaster recovery, monitoring, automation, and intelligent operations and maintenance systems.
- Responsible for the development of operations and maintenance platforms; continuously improve platform efficiency, design core operational metrics, and drive system optimization to enhance performance and stability.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related fields; 2+ years of experience in large-scale system operations and maintenance, with hands-on experience in developing disaster recovery and monitoring systems.
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin with international teams preferred but not required.
- Proficient in common programming languages such as Shell, Python, or Golang; familiar with mainstream technologies such as Open-Falcon, Grafana, etc.
- Familiar with Linux operating systems and various network protocols.
- Able to work under pressure, with a strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and a solid team spirit.
- Capable of working independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

US-California-Palo AltoThe expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $106,100.00 to $199,300.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee’s tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year. Your benefits may be adjusted to reflect your location, employment status, duration of employment with the company, and position level.
