Job Summary & Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering.
  • Proficiency in using AWS cloud platform for deploying and managing applications, particularly AWS ECS
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS (compute, networking, IAM, storage, monitoring).
  • CI/CD Pipelines:
    • Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and management
    • Strong experience with GitLab to include version control and code collaboration.
  • Proficiency in product architecture, end-to-end product journey, integration patterns, & security
  • Expertise with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL or cloud equivalent such as Amazon RDS
  • Experience utilizing LLMs and prompt engineering
  • Strong conceptual problem-solving
  • Experience in supporting one or more MMCs

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?

World Wide Technology, LLC has an opportunity available for a Cloud Engineer to support our Government Services team in developing an AI model to evaluate data integrity and identify errors for evaluation and resolution.  The ideal candidate will have strong skills in DevSecOps practices, with hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cloud Architecture & Automation
    • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS.
    • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
    • Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources.
  • DevSecOps & CI/CD
    • Build CI/CD pipelines in GitLab with security and compliance integrated.
    • Implement DevSecOps practices to ensure secure, automated delivery of infrastructure and applications.
    • Integrate automated security scanning and compliance checks into pipelines.
