This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure in alignment with DoD and IC requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure in federal working environments and is fluent in automation and security practices across IL4/5/6 workloads.
* Responsibilities:
* Architect and deploy secure cloud solutions (AWS GovCloud, Azure IL5/6, or private cloud) in accordance with RMF and DISA STIGs
* Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
* Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement Zero Trust principles and meet FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 controls
* Develop and support containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift
* Support migration of legacy workloads into IL4+/IL6 cloud environments
* Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and compliance
* Work within an Agile/DevSecOps team to deliver secure, scalable cloud infrastructure
Required Qualifications:
* Active Secret clearance with Eligibility for Top Secret/SCI
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevSecOps roles
* Experience with AWS, and/or Azure (preferably IL4, IL5, and/or IL6 environments)
* Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or equivalent
* Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53/171/172, FedRAMP, and DISA STIGs
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container security
* Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
* Prior experience supporting DoD, IC, or Space Force missions
* Salary range: 135,000 - $155,000, depending on experience and skill set
