In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain resilient, secure, and scalable cloud environments, while bridging the gap between development and operations teams through a culture of continuous automation.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) mindset, a obsession for process automation and proactive monitoring, and hands-on experience supporting high-availability ecosystems handling large volumes of data.
Responsibilities
1. Cloud Architecture, Provisioning, and Governance
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure using automation tools (such as Terraform), ensuring replicable and standardized environments.
- Network & Security Management: Configure and manage secure network topologies (VNets/VPCs, peering, subnets, firewalls, gateways, and routing).
- Governance & FinOps: Monitor cloud resource utilization, applying architectural optimization practices to ensure maximum financial efficiency and cost control.
2. Automation & Delivery Cycle (CI/CD)
- Deployment Pipelines: Build, optimize, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, reducing delivery times and mitigating production risks.
- Environment Standardization: Ensure parity and technical consistency across development, staging (QA/homologation), and production environments.
3. Containerization & Orchestration
- Container Management: Design and manage microservice-based environments using Docker and orchestration platforms (such as Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, or similar).
- Architectural Evolution: Support software development teams in migrating systems and services to cloud-native architectures.
4. Telemetry, Observability, and Operations
- Proactive Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and telemetry tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Azure Monitor) to ensure high availability and identify bottlenecks before they impact business operations.
- Support & Resilience: Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents, conduct root-cause analyses (Post-Mortems), and implement continuous improvements for security and fault tolerance.
Qualifications
- Solid hands-on experience administering enterprise cloud providers (with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and GCP).
- Advanced expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
- Proven experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins).
- Strong domain knowledge in container ecosystems and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes / Container Apps).
- Experience with cloud network administration, information security, and identity management (IAM/RBAC).
- Hands-on experience monitoring and supporting environments integrating relational databases (SQL Server) and Big Data / Data Engineering pipelines (such as Databricks ecosystems or similar).
- Deep understanding of DevOps culture and agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) tailored to infrastructure management and delivery.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of best practices in data governance, auditing, and security compliance.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively across multiple development squads and technical leadership.
- Sharp analytical and troubleshooting capabilities for complex technical issues.
- Proactive mindset focused on automation and eliminating repetitive manual tasks (toil reduction).
- Familiarity with LLMOps/MLOps concepts and tools for automating AI solution lifecycles.
- Knowledge of provisioning and monitoring managed AI services (such as Azure OpenAI Service or Google Vertex AI) and vector databases.
- Hands-on experience with AIOps-based observability tools for proactive production anomaly detection.
- Practical application of Generative AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot and cloud assistants) for infrastructure routine automation and code writing (IaC).
