We are looking for a BBS registered individual who is eager to help serve within their community as a Clinician for our Juvenile Justice Diversion and Treatment Program (JJDTP) program in Elk Grove!

Program Summary:

JJDTP is a Full-Service Partnership for probation-connected youth and their families, designed to enable youth with a Serious Emotional Disturbance and current involvement in the juvenile justice system to remain in their homes, schools and communities by providing a comprehensive array of mental health services and supports. Youth are referred between the ages of 13 and 17 years and may participate up to age 26. Goals include stabilizing placements, reducing homelessness, support academic participation, increase vocational or employment opportunities, reduce psychiatric hospitalizations and detention or incarceration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present clinical documentation for team review
  • Develop and administer care plans
  • Conduct client visits for assessment and support
  • Provide individual and family therapy or rehabilitation sessions
  • Provide care coordination to include resources, advocacy and referrals
  • Coordinate client goal development
  • Meet billing goals and track productivity
  • Stay updated on professional standards and resources
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in client interactions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Maintain accurate online recordkeeping while ensuring confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
  • Current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology
  • Strong organizational, communication, and counseling skills
