Clinical Partnerships Associate - Nabi Health

About Us

Nabi Health is a fast-growing digital health platform helping people access high-quality eating disorder care covered by insurance. We match patients with registered dietitians and help them get scheduled quickly and compassionately.

We're hiring a Clinical Partnerships Associate who is curious about healthcare, organized, and confident on the phone. This role has a direct impact on expanding patient access by building referral relationships with the medical practices and clinicians who identify patients in need of eating disorder care.

Role Overview

As a Clinical Partnerships Associate, you will reach out to external healthcare practices to introduce them to Nabi and build ongoing referral partnerships. You'll speak with office managers, care coordinators, and clinicians to help them understand how Nabi can support their patients, and make it easy for them to refer.

This role is a strong fit for pre-med students, post-bacc candidates, or anyone exploring a career in healthcare. You'll get firsthand exposure to how different types of practices operate, how referral networks function, and how a digital health company grows its patient pipeline through clinical partnerships.

Who You'll Reach Out To

Our referral partners include:

  • Primary care physicians, pediatricians, and adolescent medicine clinics

  • Mental health providers: therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and group practices

  • OB/GYNs

  • Gastroenterologists and endocrinologists

  • College and university health centers

  • Higher-acuity eating disorder programs (residential, PHP, IOP) stepping patients down to outpatient care

What You'll Do

  • Reach out to medical practices via phone and email

  • Handle a steady volume of outreach each day

  • Introduce Nabi to office managers, care coordinators, and clinicians

  • Explain how our referral process works and make it easy for practices to send patients our way

  • Follow up consistently and document touchpoints in our CRM

  • Navigate common questions about insurance, scheduling, and patient experience

  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with referring practices

  • Coordinate closely with the clinical operations team to ensure referred patients are handled smoothly

What We're Looking For

  • Interest in healthcare, clinical operations, or the business side of medicine (pre-med, post-bacc, public health, nursing, or healthcare admin backgrounds strongly encouraged)

  • Strong communicator with warm, confident energy

  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and professional phone conversations

  • Reliable, organized, and proactive with follow-ups

  • Attention to detail when tracking outreach and managing a pipeline of practices

  • Comfortable using scripts and following clear processes

Why Join Us

  • Mission-driven company expanding access to eating disorder care

  • Direct exposure to how healthcare practices operate and how referral networks are built, which is invaluable for anyone heading into medicine or healthcare admin

  • A great stepping stone role for pre-med students or early-career folks exploring the healthcare industry

  • Supportive team and clear, structured processes

  • Fast-moving environment with room to grow

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
